REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE ASUCI SENATE 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the President of the Senate no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The President of the Senate reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Senate session if the President of the Senate feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Appointment of the President Pro-Tempore of the Senate for Spring 2017

Whereas, ASUCI Senate has the ability and responsibility to elect a new President Pro Tempore at the first meeting of the Quarter (ASUCI By-Laws, Article III, Section B, Sub-Section 2),

Whereas, the President Pro-Tempore's term shall begin immediately effective after the Pro-Tempore's appointment and will term out at the end of the Quarter (ASUCI By-Laws, Article III, Section B, Sub-Section 2),

Whereas, Senator Tin Hong was nominated to be the next ASUCI Senate President Pro Tempore,

Whereas, ASUCI Senate has elected Tin Hong on April 13th, 2017, and has decided to appoint him as its President Pro Tempore,

Therefore, let it be resolved, that Tin Hong be appointed Spring Quarter 2017 ASUCI President Pro Tempore of ASUCI Senate until the end of Spring Quarter 2017.
