REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE ASUCI SENATE 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the President of the Senate no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The President of the Senate reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Senate session if the President of the Senate feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Formation of Advocacy Committee

Whereas, as stated in the Senate bylaws, there exists four (4) standing committees on Senate: Rules, Public Information, Finance, and Advocacy.

Whereas, all Senate members are required to sit in a standing committee,

Whereas, newly appointed senators, Joshua Scruggs and Amrit Sidhu, are currently not sitting in a standing committee,

Whereas, Joshua Scruggs and Amrit Sidhu have been working with the current Senate Advocacy Committee,

Therefore, let it be resolved that newly appointed senators, Joshua Scruggs and Amrit Sidhu, become members of the Senate Advocacy Committee

Therefore, let it be resolved that the Senate Advocacy Committee be composed of the following Senate members, with more members to be added if deemed necessary:
