REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE ASUCI SENATE 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the President of the Senate no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The President of the Senate reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Senate session if the President of the Senate feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Appointment of Labor Commissioner in Office of the External Vice President

Whereas, The Labor Organizing Commission is under the External Vice President’s office of ASUCI;

 

Whereas, Article 6, section 2(k) of the ASUCI Constitution requires the ASUCI Senate to consider and possibly confirm any appointments made by Executive Officers to paid positions;

 

Whereas, The External Vice President nominates Hilda Crisantos as Commissioner of Labor Organizing

 

Therefore Let it be Resolved, that the nomination of Hilda Crisantos to the position of EVP Labor Commissioner of Labor Organizing be confirmed by the ASUCI Senate, to serve for the remainder of the 2017-2018 academic year.
