All requests may be typed and submitted to the President of the Senate no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The President of the Senate reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Senate session if the President of the Senate feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

 Whereas, the position of Senate Secretary is currently unfilled and,

 

Whereas, a secretary is an integral part of Senate's ability to accurately report its doings to its constituents and,

 

Whereas, the President of the Senate and the Rules Committee conducted a search and interviewed an applicant for the position and,

 

Let it therefore be resolved that, Monica Halaka be appointed as the Senate Secretary for the 2017 - 2018 academic year.
