REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE ASUCI SENATE 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the President of the Senate no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The President of the Senate reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Senate session if the President of the Senate feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Appointment for the External Vice President Office Community Outreach Commissioner

Whereas, the current Community Outreach Commissioner(s) has stepped down,

Whereas, Article 6, Section 2(k) of the ASUCI Constitution requires the ASUCI Senate to confirm any appointments made by Executive Officers to paid positions and,

Whereas, the ASUCI Interim EVP has selected a replacement for this position and,

Let it be resolved that the ASUCI Senate confirms Thea Chimillo as the new Community Outreach Commissioner for the ASUCI Office of the External Vice President, to serve for the remainder of the 2017-2018 school year.
