REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE ASUCI SENATE 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the President of the Senate no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The President of the Senate reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Senate session if the President of the Senate feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Whereas, the current language in the ASUCI By-laws precludes the ASUCI Senate Intern Commissioner’s ability to work effectively and,

 

Whereas, the Senate Intern Commissioner position has constantly been filled with loyal and dedicated people, who above and beyond the language of their job, carried out their duties and,

 

Whereas, it is overdue to extend proper recognition to the hard work and sacrifice of the people of this commission and,

 

Let it be resolved that, ASUCI By-Laws Article IV, Section C 1. be amended from:

 

  1. The Senate President shall appoint an unpaid Senate Intern Commissioner.

 

to

 

  1. The Senate President shall appoint a paid Senate Intern Commissioner.
