REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE ASUCI SENATE 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the President of the Senate no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The President of the Senate reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Senate session if the President of the Senate feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Appointment for the Internal Vice President Office Student Life and Advocacy Commissioner

Whereas, the Student Life and Advocacy commission is under the Office of Internal Vice President; and,


Whereas, the current Student Life and Advocacy Commissioner has stepped down; and,

Whereas, Article 6, Section 2(k) of the ASUCI Constitution requires the ASUCI Senate to confirm any appointments made by Executive Officers to paid positions; and,
Whereas, the ASUCI Internal Vice President has selected a replacement for this position; and,
Let it be resolved, that the ASUCI Senate confirms Jenna Gotte as the new Student Life and Advocacy Commissioner for the ASUCI Office of the Internal Vice President, to serve for the remainder of the 2017-2018 school year.
