REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE ASUCI SENATE 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the President of the Senate no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The President of the Senate reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Senate session if the President of the Senate feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Office of Internal Affairs 2018-2019 Staff Appointments

Whereas, The Office of the Internal Vice President has completed the hiring process of the staff for the 2018-2019 academic year; and

Whereas, It is necessary for the appointments of an Executive Officer to be approved by the Senate (Constitution Article 6, Section 2, Subsection k.); and

Whereas, Members of the staff need to be confirmed for payroll and have already been performing their duties; and

Let it be Resolved, that the following students be confirmed for their respective positions as members of the staff of the ASUCI Office of the Internal Vice President and afforded all privileges associated with such appointments:

  1. Jamie Batres - Chief of Staff

  2. Nikita Patel - Chief of Staff

  3. Jessica Oshiro - Student Life & Advocacy Co-Commissioner

  4. Jenna Gotte - Student Life & Advocacy Co-Commissioner

  5. Meena Hoshmand - Recruitment and Retention Commissioner

  6. Alexandra Singca - Garden Co-Commissioner

  7. Nishat Jahan - Garden Co-Commissioner

  8. Hannah Quach - Anteaters in Action Commissioner

  9. Daniel Palmerin - Transportation Commissioner

  10. Kaitlyn Sapida - Food Security Commissioner

  11. Aryan Ghanadan - Sustainability Project Co-Commissioner

  12. Victoria Nguyen - Sustainability Project Co-Commissioner
