REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE ASUCI SENATE 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the President of the Senate no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The President of the Senate reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Senate session if the President of the Senate feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Office of the President 2018-2019 Staff Appointments

Whereas, ASUCI Office of the President has completed the hiring process of the staff for the 2018-2019 academic year; and

 

Whereas, it is necessary for the appointments of an Executive Officer to be approved by the Senate (Constitution Article 6, Section 2, Subsection k.); and

Whereas, members of the staff need to be confirmed for payroll and have already been performing their duties; and

 

Let it be Resolved, that the following students be confirmed for their respective positions as members of the staff of the ASUCI Office of the President and afforded all privileges associated with such appointments:

 

Cassius Rutherford - Chief of Staff

Rivka Jones - Chief of Staff

Alan Calderon - Campus Climate Commissioner

Merielle Macaraeg - Campus Climate Commissioner

Kayleigh Lacy - Mental Health Commissioner

Asia Cao - Mental Health Commissioner

Mary Hu - Student Programming Funding Board (SPFB) Commissioner

Christopher Marelich - Housing Security Commissioner

ChenDanni Liu - Housing Security Commissioner

Mahima Avanti - Research Mobilization Commissioner

Nathalie Vidal - Research Mobilization Commissioner

 

Let it finally be resolved, that the above students remain appointed and confirmed for their respective positions as members of the staff of the ASUCI Office of the President for the academic year 2018-2019.
