REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE ASUCI SENATE 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the President of the Senate no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The President of the Senate reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Senate session if the President of the Senate feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Whereas, the term “Committee-on-Committees” is redundant and never used by anyone in Senate or anywhere else in ASUCI to refer to the Senate Advocacy Committee and,

 

Whereas, the term can be deemed as confusing and,

 

Let it therefore be resolved that the term “Committee-on-Committees” be deleted from the name of Article XIV. Advocacy Committee/Committee-on-Committees and that Article XIV’s new moniker shall be Article XIV. Advocacy Committee and,

 

Let it be resolved that in Article XIV. Advocacy Committee, Section A., the phrase “(also known as or referred to as the Committee-on-Committees)” be deleted from the bylaws and,

 

Let it be resolved that in Article XIV. Advocacy Committee, Section A., Subsection 2., the phrase “/Committee-on-Committees (Advocacy Committee)” be deleted from the bylaws.
