All requests may be typed and submitted to the President of the Senate no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The President of the Senate reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Senate session if the President of the Senate feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full. |

| Whereas, the Academic Senate commission under the Office of Academic Affairs posted and publicized applications for the Academic Senate commission on the ASUCI website (https://asuci.uci.edu),
Whereas, the Academic Senate Commissioner, Angeline Phan, along with the Academic Affairs Vice President, Leila Danishgar, conducted interviews for positions,
Whereas, under the ASUCI By-Laws Article III. Membership Provisions, Section B. Senate Provisions, Subsection 7. states, “Voting Senators shall confirm or reject by a simple majority present all nominations for the student representative positions on all Administrative, Advisory, Academic Senate, or other ASUCI represented committees, as recommended by the respective Executive Officers and reviewed by the Rules Committee”,
Therefore, let it be resolved that the following students be appointed as ASUCI Representatives to the UC Irvine Academic Senate (http://senate.uci.edu) and be afforded all privileges associated with such appointments:
