|
| Synopsis: By Laws Amendment: Changing Date of Executive Officer Budget Reports | |
| Date of Presentation: |
|
| Whereas ASUCI By-Laws Article 3, Section A, Subsection 2 requires Executive Officers of each branch of ASUCI, “to present to the ASUCI Senate a breakdown of their budget expenditures on a bi-quarterly basis, on the Thursday of Week Three (3) and Week Six (6)” and,
Whereas the dates of these budget reports have proven to be too extreme in that they did not allow enough time for Executive officers to report a representative outlook on spent funds and ineffective in adequately updating Senate on the most accurate and up to date actions of those respective offices and,
Whereas increasing the time between budget reports within each quarter would allow more of the spent funds to appear in the reports and minimize the time between the last report of one quarter and the first report of the next and,
Let it be resolved that the ASUCI By Laws Article III, Section A, Subsection 2, paragraphs 1f, 2b, 3f, 4f, and 5f be adjusted to read “They shall be required to present to the ASUCI Senate a breakdown of their budget expenditures on a bi-quarterly basis, on the Thursday of Week Three (3) and Week Seven (7)”
