REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE ASUCI SENATE 
 
All requests may be typed and submitted to the President of the Senate no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The President of the Senate reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Senate session if the President of the Senate feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Synopsis: Formation of Disability Services Committee

Whereas, students with disabilities make up a significant part of the student population and deserve for their needs to be represented, 

Whereas, special committees are to be created among the Senate to address specific issues facing students, 

Whereas, the Senate has a duty to assist the Disability Services Center with any problems or needs they may have in order to create an environment where students with disabilities can succeed,

Therefore, let it be resolved that a special committee be created, that is responsible for assisting the Disability Services Center with any troubles that they may face to help students with disabilties.

 

Let it further be resolved that the committee will be named "Disability Services Committee"

 

Let it further be resolved that the committee will include the following current Senate members:

Zara Mann 

Rayan Galaidos

Homam Almahdi

Amrit Sidhu
