All requests may be typed and submitted to the President of the Senate no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The President of the Senate reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Senate session if the President of the Senate feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full.

Whereas, in the legislation that institutionalizes slates, it is written “All candidates campaigning together in manners including, but not limited to, sharing resources, publicizing together, etc., must do so under a registered slate. “,

Whereas, the part of the statement reading “sharing resources, publicizing together, etc. “is vague in listing possible offences to the elections code,

Let it be resolved that the intended section above be rewritten as follows “All candidates campaigning together in manners including, but not limited to, sharing resources, creating flyers and/or media, posting on any type of forum, attending any official meeting, boothing and/or any publicity event must do so under a registered slate.”
