REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE ASUCI SENATE |

All requests may be typed and submitted to the President of the Senate no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The President of the Senate reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Senate session if the President of the Senate feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full. |

| Whereas, ASUCI Bylaws Article III., Section B., Subsection 1,states that the ASUCI Senate has the ability and responsibility to elect a new President of the Senate within the last two weeks of each quarter for them to serve as President of the Senate the next quarter and, [1]
Whereas, Gurneel Boparai was nominated on March 1, 2018, to be the ASUCI President of the Senate and,
Whereas, ASUCI Senate interviewed Gurneel Boparai on March 1, 2017 and decided to appoint him as its President of the Senate and,
Therefore, let it be resolved that Gurneel Boparai is appointed Spring Quarter 2018 ASUCI President of the Senate of the ASUCI Senate until the end of Spring Quarter 2018.
