REQUEST FOR ACTION BY THE ASUCI SENATE |

All requests may be typed and submitted to the President of the Senate no later 5:00 p.m. Thursday in order to be included in the agenda for the following Tuesday. The President of the Senate reserves the right to delay the Request for Action to a later Senate session if the President of the Senate feels the agenda for the next schedule meeting is full. |

| Synopsis: Dismissal of a Social Ecology Senator | |

| WHEREAS, Adrian Moreno was appointed to the position of Social Ecology senator and confirmed on the 13th of March, 2018, WHEREAS, They have subsequently failed to attend all regular meetings of this senate and have failed to provide valid excuses for aforementioned absences,
WHEREAS, They have failed to respond to all official communications from the President of the Senate and President Pro Tempore of the Senate,
WHEREAS, Article VI, Section F, subsection 3 of the ASUCI bylaws states that “Any Senator with three (3) total absences per Quarter at Regular Senate meetings shall be eligible for dismissal from the Senate by Legislation from the Rules Committee,”
THEREFORE LET IT BE RESOLVED That Senator Adrian Moreno be dismissed from the position of Social Ecology Senator and the seat declared vacant.
