    • Welcome video from Associate Vice Chancellor Dooros 5:10
    • Dooros: Specifies that he is in charge of student affairs, specifically housing
    • Barnoy: Is there any way we can assist you?
    • Dooros: Pass on information about the way students feel about their housing situations to the chancellor’s office because often the information fails to make it that far

·         Khosravi: Motion to amend all “ First gen and non-traditional” to only “first tradition”

·         Phan: This would eliminate a space for non-traditional students who struggle to get involved in campus life

·         Khosravi: These groups are very different and first gen students comprise a large percentage of students and were they grouped it would be difficult to find representatives for both. We should think about what type of committee we want to create. Both are important

o   EVP: President of UCSA will come answer questions on campus, will have date soon

o   President: Have been restructuring the offices of ASUCI. Been working to establishing an undocumented student resource center, by November 2nd there will be a report on the issue. President Napolitano will provide funds to create scholarships and resources and the resources will likely be expanded by $5million. Over the summer financial aid issues occurred, the office of fin aid and scholarship has stated that all these concerns will be addressed by mid-October. Many people have quit from the office and such issues are being addressed.

o   The rest of executive cabinet is absent.  The missing office reports will be collected online. 6:47
