  • Public Comment
    • Comment #1: New building for the students / non-academic building (due to a lack of space). AGS gave out a survey and they got concerned about wait times and access to resources . They don’t have a good flow for rhythm on working with students. The new space will be important to achieve those goals.
    • Another individual talks about a possible referendum about paying for the new building. Supports the idea of a new building.
    • Anteater TV: makes videos about what senators do. Health and Wellness center importance. Rates and medication supports education
    • Ex Chief of Judicial Board: Suchith will be the new chair and Laura Anderson will be the next vice chair. Inconsistency between the elections code and the constitution. Fee initiatives are under article 15 that will be declared by 8% of public student support. Need a vote of 10 for a bill to pass that will clarify.

Collab between Academic Affairs and IVP talking about anteaters vs LSAT, where they reach out to legal professionals and campus resources to help students prepare for it
    • Academic Affairs VP: Graduate test prep conference this weekend. We decided to give out free scantrons, and all of fall quarter it was an idea and at the moment this is the short term action. Applications for visions and LSAT event.
