          • It is first come first serve

        • The hearing itself is going to be answering a few questions

        • impeachment charges may be brought up more than once but they can only be brought up once per quarter

        • The argument s for impeachment should be grounded and based on R53-47

        • Because the impeachment hasn't actually gone through she is still considered and currently a senator

        • Someone does need to be there or the impeachment will be denied.

        • Hong:

          • why are we going against the presented if it has been done before

          • what is concerning that this feels.

          • if we do not have dismissal then why is this room full.

        • Disney:

          • I am just saying what the constitution is outlining

          • we are reviewing requirements for impeachment

          • there is no requirement for senators to be there, there is no mandate in the constitution

        • Hong:

          • Senators are supposed to be at meetings

          • when things are not explicitly said that doesn't mean these are what they can only do

        • Yakub:

          • are we just supposed to dismiss everything that the by-laws say just because it isn't written in the constitution?

        • Hong:

          • I appreciate the work you do and you being here

          • for this hearing

      • Motion to extend time by 10 minutes

        • Motion: Murad

        • Second: Hong

        • Disney:

          • We are planning on constitution for 8 minutes

          • We are aware that this is going to take some time

        • Hong:

          • Where are you deciding how to do the hearing plans?

          • What are the documents that sets down and says “this is how you are going to do the hearing?”

        • Disney:

          • It is called J-board screening

        • Murad:

          • Since Melissa technically is still a senator is can we bring up actions from now into the hearing

        • Disney:

          • Yes you can but i recommend being very careful with that

        • Murad:

          • Wouldn’t she still be able to be dismissed after the impeachment

        • Yakub

          • I am confused by this it’s just going to make anything written in the by-laws completely overlooked and it is very concerning to me.

        • Disney:

          • we are trying to say that when it comes to looking at bylaws and constitution the constitution always comes first

        • Yakub:

          • It is going to cause a lot of issues in the future

        • Boparai

          • If a senator is neglecting the constitution then a lot can go by in a week or two. It is important that those duties are fulfilled because if they do not come then the senate cannot function at all. I acknowledge the dismissal of Melissa Safady of the Social Ecology Senator spot.

    • Hong: Rescinded Admissions Update

      • The legislation released an audio report

      • 190 people who UCI betrayed them

      • Released an audit it is very well put together

      • The university has definitely betrayed the students. There is also to blame of the administration and there is a lack of communication with the administration on how they do enrollment and the process on when you get kicked out.

      • We need to let them know that we are working on what they want, need, and desire right now. We need to continue advocating and fighting for it. We should hold them accountable for theses audits.

      • That betrayal will always be there.

    • Boparai

      • I believe we serve the students by cooperating with the administration

      • With incidents that have happened on campus they are very vague and for some students it is not enough for them. And that they deserve an apology.
