      • Hong:

        • we found the chained we have $1500 and we are just wondering what we want to do with that money or if we should allocate it to another account. If you can’t put the effort to go to the first one so I dont have the confidence to think you guys are point o to go to the second one. I just want everyone to be clar senate spent a lot of time to have this money allocated to us.

      • Gabra: How much did it cost for spring of last year. Because maybe we can allocate some of it to another account.

      • Zainab Khan: I think we should actually use it for something productive. We are halfway through the year so we should’ve done this in the beginning of the year.

      • Jiang: I wonder if it is possible if we can make it so the next term of senate be responsible.

        • Hong: Unallocated accounts still have plenty of money in it. So I don't think its smart to put them there.

      • Kaur: We only  have a certain amount to go around. We just wanted to see a breakdown of where the money was going.

      • Hong: The issue with that is its private information. We should probably move on and have this discussion not during committee breakouts.

  • Immediate Business

    • Boparai: We should use this time to go back to 6B

    • Danielle

      • I want to start off by stating the main points

      • Hard to solve a problem if we can’t fully address it.

      • We have been having problems with financial recording it has created a lot of gray areas

      • Our system works on individual candidates

      • Complaints filed against an entire slate

        • That means i have to go and come up with a different rule for each candidate

      • We want to recognize them we need structure properly and regulate. In general when it comes to regulations it's a little stricter I understand that there are a lot of concerns that come with this. I do understand the problems that come when one individual is affecting an entire slate.

      • I want to make clear the rules of individual slate member.

    • Hong: I added in the slate sections: “all candidates campaign together….candidates may be part of only one slate at a time.” One person has the responsibility of turning it in on time and if they dont they are in trouble but the rest of the slate can work together and get 8 hours from the original time.

      • Danielle: Why don't you just change it to midnight instead of the actual number of hours.

      • Hong: ok i'll change that.

    • Boparai: ASUCR banned political parties for 2018 selections. And

      • Danielle: We don't have political parties and that's a big difference from slates, they have either status. The reason was because there was a lot of behind the scenes and under the table going on. And if they get caught then that is immediate disqualification.

    • Boparai: I know a lot of senators brought up concerns about this

    • Ton: If they got a complaint would the whole slate be in trouble?

      • Hong: The panel is there for the candidates to talk about why or why not they were involved in this.

    • Danielle:

      • Usually how it works is they come to me and if you want to clarify you side of the story and i can always invite the other party. And if they feel that then its fine.

    • Hong:

      • I am going to break the rules and because i dont wanna have to redo this whole legislation. Because I am just going to amend this legislation and so I don't have to make a new one since it is really long.

        • Motion to suspend bylaws and amend the institutionalized legislation to the new one that is uploaded

          • Hong

        • Second: Lim
