My pronouns are He/Him.
I am a transfer student and a 4th year Pure Mathematics major.
My three main passions are Mathematics, Activism, and Musical Theatre. I grew up in San Diego CA and attending San Diego Community college for one year before transferring to UCI. Some fun facts about me are that I am type-one Diabetic and have been since I was nine-months old, I have done community theatre ever since I was a child, and I can solve a Rubik’s Cube. After graduation I plan to apply to PhD programs in mathematics, primarily areas in Knot Theory, Topology, and Abstract Algebra. I am always willing to chat, whether that’s about a specific problem, project, or even just about your favorite Netflix shows. Mine is Magicians.
Goals For 2021-2022:
I want to increase collaboration and cooperation as much as possible in various ways. I hope to strengthen the relationship of Undergraduate Physical Sciences majors between both themselves as well as with administration. I also hope to work with other branches of the student government to best advocate for the students interests. Some of my personal goals include; expelling corruption by amending the governing documents to cement beneficial policy, advocating for student mental health, and addressing issues to increase equality amongst all students.
Why did you join ASUCI?:
As a transfer student, my time at University of California – Irvine is drastically limited. Even more so, considering my first year here was entirely online. I joined last year, and was appointed to Physical Sciences Senator, primarily to get more involved. I had previously heard of stories about what takes place in ASUCI and I wanted to be apart of the conversation. I decided to run for re-election to continue my work I began last year. I hope this year I can make an even greater impact on my UCI community.
Standing Committee/Other ASUCI Positions:
Chair of the Rules and Oversight Committee
