Bio: Hey everyone! My name is Josh and I am super excited to be this year’s Spirit & Wellbeing Co-Commissioner alongside my co Brianna. A little bit more about myself: I am from the Inland Empire (S/O 909!!!), I love thrift shopping, going to the beach, and trying new places to eat. Brianna Baker

Spirit & Wellbeing Co-Commissioner

Bio: My name is Brianna Baker and my pronouns are she/her/hers. I am a second year Education Sciences major from Redondo Beach, California. In addition to being a member of ASUCI, I am also a Campus Representative (so you will see me giving tours on campus), the editor of the Video Section of our school newspaper, New University, and I am also a Residential Advisor in Middle Earth Housing. Additionally, I am a member of the Campuswide Honors Collegium and I work at a movie theatre next to campus.

Mission & Vision

Mission: 

  • The Commission of Spirit and Wellbeing will utilize various communication platforms to ensure that our commission is central to the completion of Office goals through interactive communication between Commissions within the Office of Student Services and the entire diverses student-body.
  • The Commission of Spirit and Wellbeing will engage in hiring educators that authentically represent every group of individuals on campus in order to recognize the individuality of the Anteater population.
  • The Commission of Spirit and Wellbeing will maintain a sense of communal spirit among the general UCI student-body through actively listening to the wants and needs of students.
  • The Commission of Spirit and Wellbeing will approve programs that create accessibility¬† and engagement between our office and the UCI community.

Vision: The vision of the Commission of Spirit and Wellbeing is to provide students with an Anteater family that fosters feelings of connection, safety, positivity, and a sense of belonging in a diverse, accessible community.
